Parallel Lives by Scott Wilson

What do you do when the emotional injuries of your life are so painful that you feel hopeless?

Many people these days try to “suck it up” and “move on.” They “pull themselves up by the bootstraps,” and “put on a happy face.” And if anyone is to ask how they are, they give the patent answer, “fine.” God wants to bring healing to the emotional injuries of our life. He doesn’t want us to live pretending that everything is alright. He wants us to experience life to the fullest.

In this series we will talk about God’s ability to shape our identity, deliver us from bitterness, and help us conquer our battles with fear, anger, and depression.

September 19 – Identity
September 26 – Bitterness
October 10 – Anger
October 17 – Fear
October 24 - Depression

In this series we’ll see God’s power brought to life in some very interesting ways and in some unexpected places.
